NEST is committed to ensuring the confidentiality and security of employers and member’s personal information. This policy provides information and outlines the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 and the National Privacy Principles for the collection, handling, use, disclosure and protection of members’ personal information.

The Privacy Act applies to the collection, use, and disclosure and storage of an individual's personal information. Under the Privacy Act, personal information means any information related to an individual, which is held in a record by an organisation such as NEST from which the identity of the individual can be ascertained.

The collection of information can be via our offices or our website, www.nest.net.au, when an application form for NEST is submitted. We collect such information as is necessary for us to process an application for NEST and to manage and administer NEST. If we are not provided with the requested information, we may not be able to process or assess applications for NEST products or services.

Complaints

Contact your NEST representative and/or Coverforce Compliance via email at compliance@coverforce.com.au about your complaint. We will do our best to resolved it quickly.

If your complaint is not satisfactorily resolved within 5 days, your complaint will be escalated to our Compliance Manager who will work with NEST to resolve the complaint. You can contact the Compliance Manager on 1300 503 503 or put your complaint in writing and email it to compliance@coverforce.com.au or send it to the Complaints Manager at the address below. We will try and resolve your complaint quickly and fairly.
